Indian express said that media reports that Flipkart CEO’s email account has been hacked, the etailer on Friday said it was duplicated but not hacked.
“We would like to clarify it is not a case of hacking. Flipkart’s corporate email system leverages the highest standards of security including but not limited to two-factor authentication,” it said in a statement.
The sent email was not shot from the actual source but from a other source proving the name and address with an admitted motive.
Times Of India on Friday wrote that Flipkart CEO Bansal’s email account was hacked & 2 emails were sent using his id to Flipkart’s CFO Sanjay Baweja on 1st March, asking him to transfer $80,000.
One of emplyoyees of flipkart said it filed a FIR on email spoofing its CEO suffered.
Finally it can be concluded that CEO’s email was duplicated but not hacked.
